Fun but not always fair

I like this game and dont mind a challenging level, but it seems the game is not designed well enough to give an adequate number of a selected color. Get 50 pink candies when only 20 even appear on the entire life?! I refuse to make in-app purchases but it seems some levels are unfairly skewed for loss.
